Proper eye care is vital now more than ever. We at are particularly concerned with providing you reliable information about the best practices for protecting your eyes during the COVID-19. So remember:

  • -Before touching your lenses, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds. Be sure to dry your hands completely before putting in your lenses.
  • -Do not wear your contact lenses for longer than the recommended period of time.
  • -Discontinue contact lens use and seek medical advice promptly if you experience any eye-related discomfort or symptoms such as redness, soreness or swelling.

3. Bad Contact Lens Habits to Avoid

These potentially harmful contact lens habits should always be avoided, but are especially unsafe during this COVID-19 outbreak:

  • -Never put in or take out your contact lenses using tap water or saliva. Always use the proper solutions.

How to keep my glasses from fogging up when wearing face masks.

One of the various health measurements taking during the Covid-19 pandemic, is the use of face masks when going out of the house. For people who wear glasses, this is a big problem, since glasses fog up every time you exhale. This is not only annoying, but also dangerous because you keep touching your face and eyes to wipe your glasses. Here are some tips & tricks you can follow to keep your glasses from fogging up:

  • - Place a tissue at the top of your mask over the bridge of your nose. This will absorb the moist coming from the face mask and stop your glasses from fogging up.

  • - Before putting on the mask, wash your glasses with soap water and shake off the excess. Then, let the lenses air dry or dry them with a cloth before putting them back on. cleaning the lenses with soapy water makes it more difficult for moisture to condense.

  • - Use a metal nose clip: purchasing face masks with nose clips or adding them yourself, allows you to create a better seal around your nose that will prevent you from getting your glasses fogged up. If you are making your own mask, you can add either a paper clip or a metal fastener, but be careful as these metal parts can get near your eyes.
